In this role you will: process, manage, and be responsible for the overall accounting for an assigned group of real estate projects. The position requires the coordination of multiple project contacts, maintenance of processes, and the production of financial and analytical reports in accordance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Process journal entries and maintain the general ledger detail

? Reconcile general ledger and job cost accounts in accordance to GAAP requirements presentable for auditing

? Oversee respective project cash accounts and cash position; address cash bank reconciliation issues

? Adhere to accounting deadlines for processing, reporting, funding, ? Assist with financial audit preparation and requests

? Coordinate budget process for respective projects and maintain in budget file archives and in accounting system

? Produce periodic financial reports,

? Coordinate with Project Managers and operating division personnel to serve as liaison with Corporate Accounting to provide accounting guidance and support

? Provide knowledgeable GAAP-based contribution

? Adhere to corporate accounting policies/procedures and GAAP ? Oversee payables for respective projects processed through

AP and control timing of check disbursements

? Prepare checks for deposit by Cash Accountant

Process annual property tax reports and payments
