for a highly motivated candidate for an Electrical Technician role.
The position will report to the Electrical Manager and will be an
integral member of the team focused on completing service calls as
dispatched, providing diagnostic, troubleshooting solar panel
systems and electrical, preventive and corrective maintenance
services to SunVena’s electrical systems. The ideal candidate will
be comfortable traveling to customer homes or businesses to perform
equipment and machine repairs. The technician will install and test
products and provide customers with instructions on the proper
usage of the product. To be successful as a service technician, you
should have excellent technical and mechanical skills. You will
need basic knowledge of hand, power, and diagnostic equipment and
tools. Key Responsibilities : Responsible for the preventative and
corrective maintenance of Photovoltaic (PV) inverters, string boxes
and solar panels and other components Assist in the commissioning
of the solar array and monitoring systems during project
installation when needed Install batteries Manage all on site
repair, installation and maintenance Properly diagnose,
troubleshoot and repair Build positive relationships with customers
Mechanical/structural mounting of electrical equipment Electrical
wiring of solar array/system (AC and DC) Perform voltage testing
using appropriate PPE and procedures Ensure tasks are performed
according to organizational requirements for quality management and
environmental, health and safety standards, policies and procedures
Experience in Electrical troubleshooting (Power outage, shorts,
faults, and ETC ) Understand of battery backup systems (Enphase, LG
and ETC ) Complete RMA’s and log project documentation
Requirements: Qualifications Requirements Able to work safety with
heights on ladders and in confined areas Be able to lift, pull and
push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks Must be
willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and
able to work on your feet for long periods of time Must be able to
meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending,
lifting heavy equipment (50lbs ) and working in confined spaces.
Ability to work in various environments (example: hot sun, cold,
rain, crawl spaces, etc.) Must have a valid state driver's license
