You will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a surgical environment. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.What you will do in this role:
  • You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients.
  • You will assist surgeons in operative procedures patients.
  • You will maintain and review patients' records including posting tests and examination results.
  • You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders. What You Will Have in This Role:
    • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred
    • Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
    • Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred
    • One or more years of experience as an OR RN preferred
    • Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required
    • On-call rotation required -Must Live within 30 minutes of the facilityHCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level II NICU hospital. HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is CARF accredited for inpatient rehabilitation. Our facility offers a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. This program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. We are affiliated with HCA Florida Healthcare Division.
