About The Position Barton Associates is seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, specializing in perinatal mental health for women, men, and families. Starting on 07/30/2025, this supervisory role involves overseeing three established Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and a Physician Assistant. The position requires weekly chart reviews of approximately 50 charts, signing off on charts, and conducting a monthly remote meeting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a focus on providing expert guidance and supervision in perinatal mental health care. This opportunity offers a blend of clinical oversight and remote collaboration, ideal for an experienced psychiatrist comfortable with telemedicine and supervisory responsibilities. Job Details: Location: Florida Facility Type: Healthcare Organization Start Date: 07/30/2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Psychiatrist Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, with monthly remote meeting Responsibilities and Duties: • Review and sign off on approximately 50 charts per week • Provide clinical supervision to three Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and one Physician Assistant • Conduct monthly remote meetings via Google Meet or preferred platform • Offer expert guidance in perinatal mental health for women, men, and families • Ensure compliance with all psychiatric practice standards and regulations • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Therapy Notes software • Collaborate with the existing team to ensure high-quality patient care • Provide clinical insights and recommendations for complex cases • Stay updated on current best practices in perinatal mental health • Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed Additional Information: • Must be a board-certified Psychiatrist with active Florida medical license • Experience in perinatal mental health strongly preferred • Comfort with telemedicine and remote supervision essential • Strong leadership and communication skills required • Ability to work independently and guide a team effectively • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Therapy Notes • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care Apply now to learn more!
