Routine Tasks: Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge, answering questions, and making personalized suggestions Maintain product freshness through regular rotation and quality checks Restock and rotate displays to ensure visual appeal and freshness Package, label, and price self-service items accurately Cut and prepare seafood products according to company standards Clean and maintain scales, cutting areas, and prep stations Operate department equipment including knives, steamers, and scales safely and efficiently Assist with other tasks as assigned Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Prior experience in seafood, grocery, or food service is strongly preferred Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math and reading skills Strong attention to detail and visual presentation Team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude A passion for serving people Physical & Work Environment A Seafood Associate works primarily in the Seafood department. This role involves walking and standing for extended periods, lifting and moving products weighing up to 80 pounds, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Frequent interaction with customers and fellow team members is an essential part of the role.
